WORKSHOP: Blender Workshop

BLENDER WORKSHOP will focus on a specific aspect of the open-source, 3D modeling software Blender, including exercises that demonstrate these tools. For this class, the students will focus on Modifiers, A series of tools use the alter the mesh composition of objects, as well as lighting and animation.

Blender is a free 3D computer graphics software used for creating animated films, visual effects, art, 3D printed models, interactive 3D applications and video games. Blender’s features include 3D modeling, UV unwrapping, texturing, sculpting, animating, camera and object tracking, rendering and video editing, among others. Blender also includes a complete game engine, allowing you to create a fully featured 3D game right inside the software.

INSTRUCTOR

Alfredo Salazar-Caro is a New Media Artist, Curator and Educator from Mexico City, MX. His work has been exhibited internationally in cities like New York, Caracas, Paris, Mexico City, Berlin, Shiraz, London and Amsterdam among others. Alfredo currently lives and works between New York, Chicago and Mexico City.
